Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role but recent college grads will be considered
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Process vendor bills using the 3-Way match and understand the impact on the general ledger
Responsible for maintaining AP inbox and responding to vendor inquiries
Review shipping bills and add landed cost to inventory
Identify bills that require use tax and post accrual
Process weekly payment runs
Review, code, and enter credit card transactions
In charge of collecting W-9's and preparing annual 1099's
Reconcile bank statement
Reconcile credit card statements
Maintain fixed asset ledger and post depreciation
Prepare and submit sales/use tax filings
Backup for accounts receivable invoices and cash receipts
Month end responsibilities include various balance sheet reconciliations
Assist in any financial audits
Complete any assigned projects by management
