About The Position

The Staff Accountant position offers a comprehensive experience in all aspects of accounting. As part of a collaborative team, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records of offices, ensuring reconciliation with Trucordia standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or 1-3 years of experience in a related field
Experience with General ledger reconciliations
Experience with Accounts payable/receivable
Experience with Month-end and year-end closing processes
Experience with Journal entries
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare standard financial reports
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of integrity and confidentiality

Responsibilities

Reporting financial information, providing timely, accurate, and useful information to management for review and decision making
Working with Principles to communicate and manage financial goals/deadlines for month-end processes
Performing full balance sheet reconciliation, including substantiation, for monthly close work papers
Consolidating multi-company financial statements with variance analysis
Supporting other accounting staff in the creation of annual audits
Leading staff and junior accountants to ensure deadlines are met
Interpreting data and identifying trends to influence projects
Performing revenue reconciliation to carrier and client agreements
