About The Position

Warrior Precast, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to support financial operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on production costs, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting decision-making through cost analysis. The ideal candidate brings a strong knowledge base of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), is highly organized, and thrives in managing high-volume transactions within a manufacturing setting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • QuickBooks Online expertise required
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction-related industries
  • Strong experience with cost accounting principles and inventory management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounting entries and priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) in a manufacturing setting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in precast, concrete, or construction manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with job costing and project-based accounting
  • CPA or CMA designation (or in progress) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and analyze standard and actual costs for products within multiple entities
  • Monitor production costs, labor, materials, and overhead to identify variances and cost-saving opportunities
  • Manage and reconcile high-volume accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable/Payable (AR/AP) processes, including billing, collections, and customer account reconciliation
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting
  • Ensure proper inventory valuation and cost allocation in a manufacturing environment
  • Collaborate with operations and production teams to improve cost tracking and reporting accuracy
  • Prepare financial reports, cost analyses, and forecasts for leadership review
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed
  • Other duties as assigned and/or required.
