About The Position

RLB is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Condo team in Guelph. This role offers the chance to engage directly with clients and gain comprehensive experience in the audit process, from initial planning to the presentation of financial statements. Team members have the opportunity to specialize in a growing accounting niche and benefit from RLB's membership in the Canadian Condominium Institute. This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement option. Paid overtime will be required during busy season, which allows for Fridays off in July and August.

Requirements

Accounting diploma or bookkeeping experience.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to problem-solve, think critically, adapt & multi-task.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Public accounting experience is an asset.
CPA designation, or plans to pursue a CPA designation.

Responsibilities

Prepare annual audits for condominium corporations.
Work closely with clients throughout the audit process.
Manage the audit from planning to the presentation of financial statements.
Become a specialist in the condominium accounting niche.
Network, engage in education, and pursue business development opportunities through RLB's membership in the Canadian Condominium Institute.
