Requirements

• Degree in accounting
• A minimum of two (2) years General Accounting experience
• Excel experience is extremely helpful
• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows Explorer, and Internet Browser skills
• A high-level of speed and accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multi-task
• Able to organize and prioritize workloads
• Able to work in a team environment
• Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Eclipse, BisTrack/Great Plains and Agility is helpful

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly accounting deadlines
• Complete analysis
• Research variance discrepancies
• Make journal entries for select Balance Sheet and P&L Accounts
• Understand accruals and annual budgeting
• Perform other analysis and reports as needed
• Prepare Monthly Branch Operating Statements
• Analyze operating accounts and prepare notes monthly
• Perform Actual to Budget Variance Analysis
• Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations and analysis
• Make journal entries to record Company’s activity
• Handle expense accruals, branch allocations and year-end adjustments
• Review for Annual Audit
• Perform Bank Reconciliations
• Prepare reports and projects as needed
• Assist branches with questions
