About The Position

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial processes. The Staff Accountant partners with internal accounting, finance, and operations teams to support financial reporting, resolve transactional issues, and ensure accurate processing of financial data. The ideal candidate would have a combination of technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated experience using Sage is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Sage
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPA a plus

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Processing
• Expense Report Processing
• 1099 Misc. Reporting
• Initiates ACH Data Entry
• Maintains ACH Documentation
• General Ledger Maintenance
• Client Accounts Receivable Posting
• Maintains tracking spreadsheets
• Account reconciliations
• Perform additional duties, projects, and clerical functions as assigned
