About The Position
These Teaching Assistant positions are available to McGill graduate students within the School of Religious Studies. The roles involve instruction in conference sections, being available for student consultation via email or office hours, attending class lectures as required, grading papers and exams, and assisting in the preparation of course materials. Specific courses include RELG 212 Introduction to African Religions and Culture (2 positions) and RELG 301 Religion Fantasy Fiction (1 position), each requiring 120 hours of work per term.
Requirements
- Academic background in religious studies preferably graduate level.
- Prior graduate/undergraduate study in the subject of the course.
- Strong overall academic performance.
- Suitable teaching skills.
- Must be registered in an MA or PhD program at McGill University.
