Sr. Workday HCM Consultant (Contract)
About The Position
Meridian Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Workday HCM Consultant to provide hands-on delivery support across multiple client engagements and increase delivery capacity within its Workday Practice. This execution-focused consulting role supports clients implementing and optimizing Workday HCM, working alongside experienced Workday leaders throughout the implementation lifecycle—from configuration and testing through deployment and post-production support. The consultant is expected to independently own assigned work, solve complex issues, adapt to a fast-paced consulting environment, and collaborate closely with project teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes. This is a C2C contract position of approximately 20 hours per week. It is 100% remote, and candidates must reside in the United States and be able to work standard East Coast hours.
Requirements
- Active Workday HCM Implementer Certification is required.
- At least 3 years of Workday full-cycle implementation experience.
- Ability to independently configure, test, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues.
- Participation in at least 2 end-to-end Workday implementation projects, including configuration, testing, and deployment support.
- At least 1 year leading workstream implementations.
- Ability to work standard East Coast hours.
- Must reside within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Execute assigned Workday HCM configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and support activities.
- Support multiple projects based on business needs and leadership priorities.
- Investigate and resolve Workday HCM issues.
- Complete assigned tasks and deliverables within established timelines.
- Support business process configuration, testing, and documentation.
- Assist with issue resolution, defect remediation, and system enhancements.
- Provide regular progress updates and proactively communicate blockers.
- Follow established project direction, standards, and priorities.
