About The Position

Authority Brands is seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager Strategic Finance, this role supports investor and lender reporting and ad-hoc strategic finance initiatives. It offers exposure to cross-functional teams and executive leadership and is suited to someone with strong financial acumen, excellent Excel and modeling skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

The role involves developing financial models for strategic initiatives and acquisition targets, supporting valuation and integration work, preparing investor, board, lender, and management reporting, and conducting financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, corporate development, or FP&A.
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Strong PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with M&A diligence and quality of earnings analysis.
• Franchise or multi-unit industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and own financial models for strategic initiatives, including business cases, return analyses, and scenario planning.
• Lead early-stage financial diligence on acquisition targets, including reviewing quality of earnings reports, historical financials, and franchisee performance data.
• Support valuation, integration planning, and post-close financial integration efforts.
• Track and reconcile costs related to strategic initiatives, capital projects, and investments against budget.
• Prepare monthly investor reporting packages and support development of quarterly board materials.
• Partner with Accounting and Treasury to support sponsor and lender reporting requirements.
• Lead annual regulatory and compliance reporting initiatives.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, variance analyses, and KPI reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain agendas and presentations for monthly management reporting meetings.
• Support the long-range plan and maintain pro forma financials, as needed.
