About The Position

Turn/River Capital is a private equity firm that partners with software businesses to drive AI transformation and capital-efficient growth. Founded in 2012 and based in San Francisco, the firm has $5.6 billion in committed capital and invests globally, with a focus on North America and Europe. The Strategic Finance / Operations Analyst will be the analytical partner for a portfolio company, addressing complex revenue questions for Investment and Operating Leads. The role involves clarifying the business question, obtaining and analyzing data, and delivering recommendations that can be used by the firm’s Ops and Investment teams, portfolio company CEOs, and firm leadership. The analyst works in a pod with a Data Analytics Lead, who owns the portfolio company relationship, and a platform team that builds data pipelines. The analyst owns the analysis, dashboards, recommendations, and resulting revenue impact. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented building role. The analyst will work directly with raw data, use SQL, BI tools, and AI agents, and turn recurring analyses into reusable templates or tools. The position is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work model. The listed annual base salary range is $145,000–$155,000.
