About The Position

Kopius is seeking a senior, hands-on full-stack engineer to support a leading healthcare services organization. The role involves building end-to-end capabilities across a .NET backend and modern web front end on Azure, modernizing a legacy application, and bringing AI-driven capabilities into the product. The engineer will work across the Microsoft ecosystem, contribute to legacy-to-modern rewrites, and collaborate with data and AI engineers to deliver intelligent features. The role is a six-month contract in a hybrid work model, based in Irving, Texas, with three days per week onsite. The work is aligned to Central Time. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. The stated pay range is $80–$110 per hour on a 1099 basis; individual pay depends on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

  • Self-motivated, quick to learn, and adaptable to new technologies and legacy systems.
  • Ability to contribute collaboratively and foster a sense of community in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Proactive contributor to broader technical direction and AI initiatives, rather than only executing tickets.
  • Strong accountability and ownership of deliverables and outcomes.
  • Comfort working in healthcare or other regulated data environments where security and compliance matter.
  • Able to work independently and get started with minimal ramp.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
