About The Position

Netspend Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java, Core Java, microservices, Kafka, AWS, and Advanced Java. The role involves contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle on enterprise or large-scale projects. This position is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, and candidates based in India are requested to apply.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience.
Excellent knowledge of Core Java and microservices.
Hands-on knowledge of Kafka, Spring Boot microservices, and AWS.
Good understanding of Advanced Java skills.
Basic database skills, including SQL knowledge.
Experience with a version control system; Bitbucket or Git is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Strong proficiency in Java programming.
Experience with the Spring Boot framework.
Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development.
Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
Understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Spring Boot applications using Java.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
Write clean, efficient, well-documented code that follows industry standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug existing applications and provide timely resolutions.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Keep up to date with software development trends and technologies and apply them to improve application quality and performance.
Write and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability and functionality.
Work with databases and data structures to store, retrieve, and manipulate data.
Implement security measures to protect applications from threats and vulnerabilities.
Document technical specifications, user manuals, and other relevant materials to support communication and knowledge transfer.
