About The Position

Guitar Center is seeking a passionate, customer-focused Senior Sales Associate to help customers explore their musical interests and find the instruments and gear that suit them. The role combines sales, product knowledge, customer relationship building, merchandising, store operations, and leadership support. As a keyholding member of the store, the associate may be called on to open and close the store as needed.

The position offers a creative, vibrant retail environment with opportunities to grow a career and share a passion for music. Compensation is $19.84–$24.80 per hour, plus commission, depending on background and experience. Requirements

• Passion for music and a solid understanding of various instruments and products.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment and help customers find gear that supports their musical interests.
• Meet and exceed sales targets, including upselling and cross-selling instruments and accessories.
• Maintain expert knowledge of products, including guitars and recording equipment, and help improve colleagues’ product knowledge.
• Build customer relationships and help fellow associates develop relationships with customers and the local music community.
• Organize displays, restock shelves, and maintain the store.
• Guide and mentor team members and support them with customer interactions and operational tasks.
• Open and close the store as needed as a keyholding team member.
