This involves making Target affordable, maximizing vendor performance and enabling Guest relevance. Integrated global team, connected processes and prioritized technology are our pillars, with which we power innovation in the merchandising lifecycle. Product Teams at Target are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology, discovery and design work. As a Sr Product Manager in Pricing, you will have the privilege of improving affordability for our Guests, while setting development priorities that routinely enter the industry spotlight, as they drive economic impact and transform the competitive retail landscape. You will lead the vision, strategy, and capability development of the centralized price management capability for the Enterprise. You will drive innovation through ownership of roadmap price decisioning that includes expanding use of AI and explainability of algorithmic recommendations. This role has ownership for both front-end and back-end development/design resulting in a flagship Price Product that serves thousands of users across the enterprise, through which you’ll have an opportunity to deliver business value for multiple personas. Working in partnership with Pricing Strategy and Operations you’ll evaluate current strategies, decide how to set the best price for Target using deep competitive intelligence, data science forecasting models, and adaptable financial and vendor partner guardrails. All of this will be informed through data focused evaluations and keeping the Guest at the center of decisions. You will partner with a deeply knowledgeable operations and data insights team to develop business cases that often have 9 to 10 figure financial impact and incorporate industry intelligence of shifting Guest expectations and experience in a rapidly evolving pricing solution space. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will partner to develop a comprehensive product strategy, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to leverage the knowledge of your product, as well as customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will lead a product and work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product. You will be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders. You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction.
