About The Position

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Sr. Principal Technical Services Engineer to join its team. This position is in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

Requirements

8 Years experience with Bachelors; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Year with PhD; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need
3 Yrs. experience with a sustainment or development program.

Responsibilities

Produce ILS Technical Reports, Maintenance Plans, and Training Requirements Documents compliant with appropriate standards.
Create and maintain comprehensive sustainment strategies covering maintenance concepts, spare part provisioning, supply chain risk mitigation, and life cycle cost forecasting.
Liaise with engineering, production, logistics, contracting, and customer support teams to align sustainment objectives and resolve issues promptly.
