About The Position

The Data & Marketing Group plays a central role in the Paramount+ Streaming Group, in charge of the Consumer & Growth Marketing, Data & Insights, and Business Operations for Paramount+ & Pluto TV at the cornerstone of growth across the free and pay streaming markets. The Sr Manager, Media Strategy is tasked with helping drive the paid media strategy for Paramount+ Originals. This role leads the paid full-funnel media approach across all channels. This role sits within the larger Media and Growth team and will partner closely with the Prog Marketing team, the media agency, and media partners. Advancing collaboration, productive use of our media investment, and best in-class entertainment campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a deep background in executing media campaigns that drive measurable results, thrive in a dynamic environment with the ability to work on multiple campaigns at a time. The ideal candidate has entertainment experience, strategic marketing sensibilities, and an affinity for innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years relevant work experience in media strategy at a brand or agency
  • Proficient in the digital space and able to make data-driven decisions and recommendations
  • Forward-thinking, detail-oriented, accountable, and enthusiastic
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, including both written & verbal skills
  • Experience working in highly cross-functional and matrixed organizations; a natural collaborator who enjoys working across teams
  • Ability to adapt rapidly in an agile environment with shifting priorities — balance cross functional teams’ needs, reacting quickly, dynamically, and intelligently
  • Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically
  • Proven initiator with the ability to control multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work in a dynamic environment
  • Experience building decks for executive-level audiences and EPs
  • Savvy in building decks and able to synthesize strategy and plans for various audiences

Responsibilities

  • Drives the paid media strategy for Paramount+ Original campaigns, partnering with the Program Marketing & Buying Teams, from briefing through measuring performance.
  • Ensures campaigns have cohesive go-to-market media strategies and helps to drive cross-campaign alignment to fuel growth with full funnel media investment planning.
  • Manages the media agency with media budgets, timelines, audience work, etc.
  • Partners with collaborators across the marketing team to translate marketing strategies into tangible media activations.
  • Works across Paramount to coordinate, plan, and measure Owned + Operated media.
  • Builds deep relationships with key media partners to make the most of investment, ad formats, testing, and learning opportunities.
  • Contributes to a culture of sharing best practices, creating actionable and easily interpreted reporting in collaboration with the agency and analytics team to uncover media and creative performance insights.
