About The Position

The Enterprise Strategy team helps steward CVS Health’s long-term strategy and priorities, connect business units to those priorities, identify growth opportunities, and accelerate revenue streams. The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Strategy is an individual contributor who supports new growth initiatives and the execution of key strategic priorities, with a particular focus on Pharmacy Services. The role works on high-priority initiatives with executive leadership visibility and partners closely with stakeholders across CVS Health’s businesses. This position requires comfort working through ambiguity and simplifying complex, cross-functional strategic challenges. The role uses market insights and knowledge of CVS Health to help shape the direction of a vertically integrated health care company. It suits a curious, self-motivated, adaptable, entrepreneurial person who is comfortable in a demanding, rapidly evolving environment. The position also offers mentorship and personal development from experienced industry experts.

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience in a dynamic, fast-moving profession; relevant experience may include management consulting, corporate development, financial analysis, public policy, product development, mergers and acquisitions, or similar roles.
Expertise in storyboarding and logically framing presentations in written deliverables and live discussions.
Demonstrated executive presence, including active listening, empathy, and effective communication.
Comfort with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to simplify complex problems and concepts.
Ability to work in a matrixed environment, manage competing priorities, handle concurrent projects, and prioritize effectively.
Ability to manage up and influence internal and external partners, including people with more senior job titles.
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.

Responsibilities

Lead qualitative and quantitative analyses, developing cohesive storylines and actionable recommendations that deliver value to customers, clients, and shareholders.
Identify and develop new growth opportunities by scanning market developments, monitoring healthcare and consumer trends, and tracking innovation and potential disruptors.
Synthesize insights and develop materials to support senior executive decision-making within CVS Health business units and across the Enterprise.
Support business unit leadership processes, including tracking goals and developing agendas for executive leadership forums.
Conduct research and competitive intelligence using internal and external sources to inform strategic recommendations.
Collaborate across the Enterprise Strategy team and with CVS business partners, building relationships and partnering with Finance and Operations stakeholders to translate strategy into execution.
