The Senior Manager, Account Executive is responsible for account management and strategic leadership within a growing wholesale business. This individual will quickly develop a deep understanding of the business, identify opportunities, and recommend action plans that support long-term growth. The ideal candidate combines strong initiative with analytical rigor and is highly effective at building relationships—both internally and externally—to drive alignment, support, and results.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including retail math
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strategic mindset with strong initiative, energy, and attention to detail
  • Consumer-focused approach
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • 5-7+ years of buying or account management and/or relevant experience
  • Footwear experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as strategic account partner, driving shipment and retail sales growth
  • Continuously analyze performance and accurately reforecast business, implementing account-specific strategies to achieve plan targets
  • Influence category assortments through analysis of product performance, customer feedback, consumer trends, competitive landscape, and local market insights
  • Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) to balance topline growth, profitability, and inventory efficiency while meeting internal shipment targets
  • Partner closely with Inventory Management and Operations to ensure shipment goals are met, marketing calendars are supported, and profitability is maximized
  • Collaborate with field teams to gather qualitative insights on product, customers, store environments, and competition to inform growth strategies
  • Lead market week planning for key accounts, identifying growth opportunities and delivering tailored recommendations
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key retail accounts
  • Act as a trusted advisor to retail partners, providing insights and recommendations
  • Develop customized business solutions and identify opportunities for expansion
  • Oversee order management, offering creative solutions to meet or exceed shipment goals
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, and Field teams
  • Champion cross-functional initiatives that enhance account performance and relationships
  • Support marketing opportunities, events, and tailored business solutions for key accounts
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on account strategy and best practices
  • Travel as needed, including local market visits and quarterly travel
