About The Position

Fizz is seeking a high-performing Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to contribute to the growth and scaling of Fizz’s advertising business. This position is suited for an ambitious, entrepreneurial salesperson who excels in early-stage settings and desires to significantly influence a rapidly expanding revenue stream. The role involves managing the entire sales process, from initial prospecting to deal closure, in close collaboration with the Head of Business Solutions to secure new business from brands and agencies. Key duties include independently building a sales pipeline, cultivating client relationships, and finalizing high-value agreements. This is a multifaceted role that bridges sales, product, and creative strategy, demanding strong execution, inquisitiveness, and consultative selling abilities.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in digital advertising sales (publisher, ad tech, or media)
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quota ($1M+ preferred)
  • Experience selling to brands and/or agencies
  • Strong understanding of digital ad products (native, sponsorships, etc.)
  • Ability to independently manage a full sales cycle
  • Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships with agency or brand contacts
  • Experience selling custom programs or integrated campaigns
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Experience in a startup or early-stage environment

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new business
  • Build pipeline from scratch: Develop outbound strategies across email, LinkedIn, events, and referrals
  • Maintain consistent pipeline coverage (3–5x quota)
  • Sell consultatively: Align Fizz’s offerings (native posts, activations, UGC, custom programs) to client goals
  • Hit and exceed revenue targets with a focus on repeatable deal flow
  • Build and grow relationships with agency and brand stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on proposals, pricing, and campaign strategy
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and provide accurate forecasting
  • Stay current on digital media trends and evolving advertiser needs
  • Represent Fizz in market through client meetings and industry events

Benefits

  • Base salary: $90K - $110K
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $180K - $220K (depending on experience)
