About The Position

The Sr. Loan Consultant supports the Branch Manager by overseeing efficient branch operations and ensuring staff properly perform operational functions. The role helps create an environment of trust, service, security, and satisfaction for customers and staff. It also supports branch profitability, lending, credit quality, collections, business development, sales, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Five or more years of consumer finance or related experience.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient working knowledge of industry or related-industry lending software, Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing and motivating staff to meet goals relating to branch profitability, volume, lending, credit quality, collections, and expenses.
• Make loan decisions within established lending limits or recommend loan decisions.
• Process and close consumer loans.
• Collect accounts at varying stages of delinquency.
• Assist the Branch Manager with community business development relationships.
• Sell products and services to meet sales goals.
• Assist customers with implementing solutions and monitor overall customer satisfaction.
• Assist the Branch Manager with hiring, staffing, training, performance reviews, and terminations, as applicable.
• Ensure a high quality of customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
