About The Position

The Senior Loan Consultant supports the Branch Manager by overseeing efficient branch operations and ensuring staff perform all operational functions completely and properly. The role helps create a sense of trust, service, security, and satisfaction for customers and staff. It also supports branch performance across profitability, lending, credit quality, collections, and expenses while delivering high-quality customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• More than 5 years of consumer finance or related experience.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient working knowledge of industry or related-industry lending software, Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word applications.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• Bilingual Spanish/English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing and motivating staff to meet branch goals and objectives related to profitability, volume, lending, credit quality, collections, and expenses.
• Make loan decisions within established lending limits or recommend loan decisions.
• Process and close consumer loans.
• Collect accounts in varying stages of delinquency.
• Assist the Branch Manager with developing business relationships in the community.
• Sell products and services to meet sales goals.
• Help customers implement solutions and monitor overall customer satisfaction.
• Assist the Branch Manager with hiring, staffing, training, performance reviews, and terminations, as applicable.
• Ensure a high quality of customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
