About The Position
The Sr. Loan Consultant supports the Branch Manager in overseeing efficient branch operations and ensuring staff complete operational functions properly. The role focuses on providing customers and staff with a sense of trust, service, security, and satisfaction. Responsibilities also include supporting branch goals, handling consumer loans and collections, developing community relationships, and maintaining strong customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Five or more years of consumer finance or related experience.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient working knowledge of industry or related-industry lending software, Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or bachelor's degree.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Assist with managing and motivating staff to meet branch goals for profitability, volume, lending, credit quality, collections, and expenses.
- Make loan decisions within established lending limits or recommend loan decisions; process and close consumer loans; and collect accounts at varying stages of delinquency.
- Assist the Branch Manager with developing business relationships within the community.
- Sell products and services to meet sales goals.
- Help customers implement solutions and monitor overall customer satisfaction.
- Assist the Branch Manager with hiring, staffing, training, performance reviews, and terminations, as applicable.
- Ensure a high quality of customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
