The Department of Radiology at University of Colorado Denver is seeking applicants for a full-time radiologist and faculty member in the Cardiothoracic Radiology Section. We are interested in candidates at any stage of their career from the Sr. Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels. The Department of Radiology offers two career pathways. Clinical Practice Track: Exclusive focus on clinical work with no research expectations. Productivity-based compensation plan. Academic/Tenure Eligible Track: Focus on clinical, teaching, and research missions. Academic faculty are incentive eligible. The department has an excellent track record of obtaining J1 waivers, and candidates are encouraged to apply. The department will provide a robust relocation package along with a signing bonus. The Cardiothoracic Radiology section has a strong regional and growing national reputation. It performs the full range of both thoracic and cardiac imaging including radiography, CT and MR. The section participates in multiple multidisciplinary conferences across campus including Interstitial Lung Disease, Thoracic tumor board, CTEPH patient selection committee, Aorta conference among others. There is a Cardiothoracic Imaging fellowship jointly administered with National Jewish Health. There is extensive departmental and institutional support to achieve the clinical, teaching and research missions of the division.
