About The Position

Infotech is hiring a senior frontend engineer or team lead to help modernize products used to build roads and infrastructure, including evolving a desktop application into a web-based experience. The role will build on an established UX/UI foundation to create faster, more accessible, consistent experiences across commercial product applications. The engineer will turn design artifacts into polished interfaces, understand the business needs supported by the software, and deliver clean, testable code. They will collaborate with peers across frontend, backend, product, and design to evolve practical, maintainable architecture for full-stack and split-stack applications. Candidates should be collaborative, communicative, adaptable, and comfortable using AI tooling as part of software development. At the Team Lead level, the role also guides the modernization effort, establishes team standards, mentors engineers, and supports team growth. Infotech describes its frontend team as curious, creative, approachable, ambitious, technically sharp, customer-focused, supportive, communicative, and committed to continuous improvement. The position is open to fully remote candidates in the United States; remote, hybrid, or on-site arrangements may be supported when possible. The standard role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and three years of relevant experience; a master's degree and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and training. The Team Lead version requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and six years of relevant experience; a master's degree and four years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and training. The posting also expresses a preference for five or more years of frontend development experience. This position is not eligible for sponsorship, and a resume is required.
