About The Position

The Senior Field Technology Support (FTS) Analyst has developed mastery in at least one FTS responsibility area—configuration or deployment—and is recognized as a go-to resource in that area. The analyst works in the alternate discipline to develop a comprehensive understanding of the full breadth of technology managed within FTS. This person serves as the face of IT for the end users they support and should have a pleasant demeanor and enjoy helping people with technical issues and needs.

This is an onsite position at St. Louis Children's Hospital. BJC is seeking a candidate with an IT background.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Less than 2 years of experience.
• IT background.
• Pleasant demeanor and enjoyment of supporting people with technical issues and needs.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2–5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Install or remove system components using supplied installation instructions and tools.
• Conduct standard tests and contribute to investigations of problems and faults.
• Contribute to the operational configuration of network components.
• Use tools, techniques, and processes to administer, track, log, report on, and correct configuration items, components, and changes.
• Assist with audits to check information accuracy and undertake necessary corrective action under direction.
