About The Position

The Sr. Field Engineer supports the coordination and execution of moderately complex field engineering activities, ensuring technical solutions align with project goals, specifications, and quality standards. The role facilitates collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges and improve construction processes. It applies comprehensive engineering knowledge to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency, evaluates field practices, and recommends enhancements that advance operational excellence. The position also collaborates across project teams and guides peers and less experienced team members in field engineering practices.

Requirements

Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
4–6 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or a related field.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification within 6 months of hire.
First Aid and CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
ASHE, CHC, or relevant market certification.

Responsibilities

Support technical review and implementation of engineering plans, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality expectations.
Coordinate with project managers, field staff, the self-perform team, superintendents, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum.
Independently conduct site inspections and assessments, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
Support the preparation and validation of technical documentation, including daily progress reports and as-built records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Analyze field operations and recommend innovative methods or technologies to improve efficiency and quality, including prefabrication opportunities.
Communicate technical updates and recommendations to project leadership and stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Support less experienced team members in resolving field engineering challenges and provide technical expertise on engineering standards and leading practices.
