The Sr. Donor Communications Officer provides advanced expertise in donor-facing communications by shaping strategic narratives, leading sophisticated content development, and ensuring brand and message cohesion across philanthropy. Oversees complex projects such as impact report cycles, major campaigns, multimedia storytelling, and digital engagement strategies. Advises partners, mentors junior staff, and ensures communications are compelling, accurate, and aligned with donor motivations and organizational priorities. Depending on team assignment, this role may support any of the following functions: Donor Communications and Storytelling: Leads narrative strategy, serves as chief writer/editor, and produces high-stakes content such as leadership talking points, donor reports, and major campaign storytelling. Social Media and Digital Content: Designs multi-platform strategies, oversees digital tone/voice, and uses analytics to refine engagement and donor conversion. Creative Services: Leads design direction, produces complex brand-critical visual assets, and develops integrated creative concepts for campaigns and impact reporting. Annual Fund and Brand Management: Creates brand strategy for annual giving, develops segmentation frameworks, and leads creative direction for annual fund messaging.
