Sr. Director, Portfolio Positioning & Communications

GondolaBio Service Co•Palo Alto, CA

About The Position

GondolaBio is a standalone rare disease innovator formed as a spin-out from BridgeBio, with independent governance, capital, and leadership. It develops therapeutics for diseases with genetically defined targets and has several clinical-stage programs across genetic specialties, neurology, and renal. Its purpose-built discovery and development engine uses biological research to create and deliver transformative medicines. The Sr. Director, Portfolio Positioning & Communications will own and refine GondolaBio’s corporate and portfolio narrative, develop scientifically grounded and commercially compelling value propositions for individual programs, and help shape markets for innovative or emerging treatments. It works closely with program teams, Business Development, Corporate Strategy, and leadership, and directs specialist communications support as needed. The role also leads partner- and investor-facing materials, strategic content for conferences and company events, and message consistency across corporate channels. It applies AI and digital research tools to scientific and competitive synthesis and content workflows, with rigorous fact-checking, traceable sources, and appropriate confidentiality. GondolaBio describes its environment as decentralized, collaborative, fast-paced, and data-driven, with an emphasis on patient-first decisions, scientific integrity, ownership, and effective cross-functional work.
