Sr. Catering Manager- Corporate Dining (NYC)
About The Position
Restaurant Associates, a leading provider of dining and event catering, is seeking a Senior Catering Manager for a high-volume corporate dining account in NYC. This leadership role is responsible for the successful execution of all catering operations, including event sales support, client communications, event scheduling, staff training, planning, delivery, setup, breakdown, and accurate invoicing. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and energetic hospitality professional with extensive catering experience in high-volume environments, a passion for food and hospitality, and a creative mindset. This individual will collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop innovative catering concepts and memorable guest experiences.
Requirements
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- At least three years of hands-on Catering Management experience in a high-volume setting
- Able to work evenings as needed for events
- Ability to interact with a diverse and high-volume customer base in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Ability to operate a web-based ordering system, process customer requests, make changes to orders, menu updates, and client profiles.
- Proficient with business tech and communication tools
- Ability to write professional and efficient emails to clients and customers.
- Possess the ability to meet company-specific uniform standards for this position.
- Utilize all Personal Protective Equipment per Company guidelines.
- Ability to work at times with minimal supervision, and accomplish tasks without direct instruction, and problem solve for the best solutions.
