The analyst will also analyze and support finance-related business processes, collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, and implement interactive dashboards with Business Performance Metrics. The position requires collaboration with colleagues to design solutions, create functional specifications, and manage testing. Additionally, the role involves creating documentation and training materials, supporting production systems, identifying opportunities for process improvement through data analysis, researching industry best practices, and managing small projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (foreign equivalent accepted)
  • 7 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, SAP BI/BW Developer, or similar
  • Knowledge of SAP BI and Business Objects
  • Knowledge of Finance Business Processes
  • At least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP DesignStudio (or equivalent) interactive dashboard with Business Performance Metrics

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support analytical and Business Intelligence applications that enable Finance and related business processes, focused on SAP BI/BOBJ and related applications.
  • Analyze and support business processes related to finance.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand business processes data needs, gaps, pain points, and objectives; elicit, define, and analyze information analysis requirements.
  • Implement SAP DesignStudio (or equivalent) interactive dashboard with Business Performance Metrics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to define and design proposed analytical and reporting solution that meet requirements and adhere to platform and application design guidelines, strategies, and industry best practices.
  • Create and manage Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Warehouse (BW) solutions, primarily within the SAP framework.
  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using SAP BI and BusinessObjects, including hands-on report and dashboard development to support data analysis and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with BI developers to create functional specifications for analytical development that adheres to design guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with Super Users to create test cases for end-to-end analytical and reporting solutions and system functions, ensuring traceability and coverage of requirements; execute tests; manage Super User test execution; analyze and resolve defects.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to create documentation and training materials, support training delivery and organizational change management.
  • Support production systems; proactively work to analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner; resolve end user service requests; participate in production support processes including identification of issue severity, root cause, and path to resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage information and analysis to improve business processes, and support business digitization efforts.
  • Research and represent industry best practices.
  • Plan and manage small projects leveraging appropriate project management methodology.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
