As a Senior Systems Analyst within PNC's Fraud Engineering organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. Weekly time in the office is needed. This position may not be available in all geographic areas. A Business Systems Analyst in Fraud Engineering acts as the critical bridge between fraud product and technology, ensuring requirements are clear, testable, and deliverable in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in analyzing business requirements and production specifications for changes made to technology applications.
  • Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes.
  • Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results.
  • Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
  • Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group.
  • Ability to analyze business processes, system behavior, and data flows to support fraud and technology outcomes, including identifying functional and non functional requirements.
  • Strong skill in translating business needs into clear, testable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Creating and maintaining traceability between requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and defects.
  • Support for change management activities, including ensuring requirements drive adoption, sustainability, and measurable outcomes.
  • Focus on quality and completeness, ensuring solutions align to approved scope, controls, and intended fraud outcomes.
  • Contribution to lessons learned and continuous improvement across initiatives and teams.
