About The Position

The Sr. Business Analyst - Finance serves as a critical link between Finance stakeholders and the technical teams delivering Automation, Analytics, and AI solutions. This role supports capacity planning efforts and manages the execution of technical workstreams by translating business needs into detailed requirements and Jira stories.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, or Finance Systems.
Demonstrated proficiency with Jira for backlog management and story writing.
Experience supporting Automation, Data Science and/or Data Engineering teams.
Familiarity with corporate finance operations and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g. SAP)
Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, or Finance Systems.
Leveraging GenAI applications (e.g., Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate productivity.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Information Systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the gathering of functional requirements for Analytics, Automation, and AI initiatives. Translate these into detailed technical specifications and User Stories.
Support the leadership team in capacity planning by maintaining the project backlog and tracking resource allocation.
Conduct deep-dive analysis of current-state Finance processes. Document workflows to identify inputs/outputs for Automation and Data Engineering solutions.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Finance business partners.
