About The Position

The Senior Business Process Analyst advances the National Center for Clinical Trials’ mission by translating strategic business objectives into operational processes, requirements, and solution specifications. The role reports to the Vice President and Head of Technology & Transformation and collaborates with Product Management, Operations, Research, Informatics, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders. The position focuses on business process design, operational excellence, and solution delivery—not product ownership. It assesses current operations, defines future-state workflows, documents requirements, and ensures business needs are translated into actionable solution designs. The analyst connects strategy with execution by maintaining alignment and traceability among business objectives, process requirements, data needs, and system capabilities throughout the delivery lifecycle. The role supports technology-enabled transformation across clinical trial and research operations, including workflow and solution design, data and integration analysis, delivery validation, adoption, governance, and continuous improvement. It is fully remote, with possible minor travel to a corporate office for user group meetings.
