About The Position

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Senior Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex General Liability Bodily Injury and Auto Bodily Injury claims, including litigation management. The role applies claims experience and analytical skills to assess exposure and litigation, determine appropriate courses of action, and resolve claims. It partners with clients to deliver solutions and improve claims management, while providing empathetic service to claimants and communicating effectively with everyone involved in the claims process. This position is eligible for fully remote work.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 5 years of related claims experience.
2–3 years of litigation experience.
Appropriate licensing and/or certification in all states in which claims are handled.
Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

Analyze claims exposure and litigation, plan appropriate courses of action, and resolve claims.
Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex General Liability Bodily Injury and Auto Bodily Injury claims, including litigation management.
Communicate and coordinate extensively with parties involved in the claim process to support effective communication and resolution.
Provide empathetic customer service to claimants on behalf of clients throughout the claims process.
Handle claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, industry practices, and statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
Document and communicate claim activity promptly and efficiently to support claim outcomes.
Partner with clients to deliver solutions and enhance claims management processes.
Think critically, solve problems, and plan and prioritize activities to serve clients effectively.
