About The Position

The Senior Associate Designer for the HAELO team uses strong edgy-femme fashion acumen to create and interpret concepts and develop finished products for a specific brand. The role collaborates with other departments to manage product development from initial concept through production across multiple brands. It is a permanent, full-time position for a candidate who understands the market consumer and can apply that knowledge to design work. The designer works independently to accomplish departmental goals and completes brand or category execution with minimal direction from a senior-level designer for the Downtown Femme category. The position focuses on premium-quality garments, especially dresses ranging from heavily constructed occasion styles to soft-woven everyday styles. The aesthetic is sophisticated, sexy, sleek, forward-driven, and wearable. The designer creates mood boards, technical flats, line guides, CADs, tech packs, construction-detail pages, and BOMs; sources materials; attends fittings; partners with technical design and product development; and helps train assistants. The role requires strong garment development, construction, fabric, pattern, fit, trend, and customer knowledge, along with organization and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
