Sr Advanced GenAI Engineer - Agentic AI & Cloud
About The Position
As a Sr Advanced AI Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide expert-level technical leadership in designing and developing AI algorithms, models, and systems. You will serve as a subject matter expert for technical AI projects, guiding the exploration and implementation of methodologies and best practices. You will contribute to critical AI initiatives and drive technical excellence within the organization. The role is based in Phoenix, Arizona, with a hybrid work schedule. Relocation is not offered. The position requires a U.S. Person, as defined by applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations, or someone able to obtain export authorization.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience managing AI-related technology projects.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Experience with Agentic AI and multi-agent systems.
- Experience working with cloud AI platforms, including Azure AI and AWS Bedrock.
- Mastery expertise in machine learning or related artificial intelligence technology.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status) or have the ability to obtain export authorization.

Responsibilities
- Lead development of complex AI solutions that address business needs while ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes.
- Work with product managers and business leaders to understand requirements and align AI initiatives with business objectives.
- Lead the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, including project planning, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
- Mentor and guide AI engineers, fostering continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
