About The Position

As a Sr Advanced AI Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide expert-level technical leadership in designing and developing AI algorithms, models, and systems. You will serve as the subject matter expert for technical AI projects, guide the exploration and implementation of methodologies and best practices, and help drive technical excellence across critical AI initiatives. The role focuses on Agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and cloud AI platforms. It is based in Phoenix, Arizona, on a hybrid work schedule. Relocation is not offered. The role requires at least six years of experience managing AI-related technology projects and mastery of machine learning or related AI technology, along with proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Candidates must meet U.S. Person requirements related to export control laws, or have the ability to obtain export authorization. Requirements

At least 6 years of experience managing AI-related technology projects.
Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
Experience with Agentic AI and multi-agent systems.
Experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure AI and AWS Bedrock.
Mastery-level expertise in machine learning or related artificial intelligence technology.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Must be a U.S. Person (a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status), or have the ability to obtain export authorization.

Responsibilities

Lead development of complex AI solutions that address business needs while ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes.
Work with product managers and business leaders to understand requirements and align AI initiatives with business objectives.
Lead the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, including project planning, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
Mentor and guide AI engineers, fostering continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
