About The Position

The SPS Resource Associate delivers and retrieves surgical medical supplies to support the daily operations of Perioperative Services. The role involves lifting equipment and supplies and remaining on one’s feet for extended periods. The associate maintains an aseptic environment when performing duties that require access to an Operating Room and its storage or entry points. They keep common supplies and storage areas stocked and accessible to clinical staff, contribute to inventory management through cycle counting, expiration checks, and par-level management, and assist Sterile Processing with various departmental tasks while supporting the Operating Rooms. The position requires effective teamwork and communication with department colleagues and customers to provide quality service in a positive, professional manner.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Speak and understand English fluently.
CPR training required.
Ability to lift equipment and supplies and remain on one’s feet for hours at a time.

Nice To Haves

Previous patient care experience preferred.
O2 transportation experience preferred.
Knowledge of aseptic technique preferred.
