About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is hiring Sprinter and Cargo Van owner-operators under a written independent contractor agreement. The company does not hire company drivers. Owner-operators can negotiate rates with dispatchers and receive access to a large number of loads. Dispatchers have at least four years of experience and broker contacts. Loads are personalized according to the operator’s preferences. Payments are made within 3–5 business days; quick pay is available for a 3% fee. The stated days range is Monday–Friday.

Rates listed for Sprinters are $0.85–$1.35 per mile for long miles in good areas, $0.85–$1.10 per mile for long miles in bad areas, and $1.25–$1.55 per mile in Canada. Requirements

• Own a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
• Be a U.S. citizen, resident, green card holder, or holder of work authorization.
• The owner-operator and drivers must be at least 21 years old.
• The owner-operator and drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English.
• At least 6 months of driving experience.
• Sprinter vehicles must be model year 2016 or newer.
• Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE.
• Remove all decals from the vehicle.
• Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
• Drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a load.

Nice To Haves

• Russian-language ability is accommodated; the company also hires Russian speakers.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an owner-operator under a written independent contractor agreement.
