About The Position

The Sprayer is responsible for applying product on the finishing line according to move ticket standards. This role ensures quality control by verifying color checkers and proper equipment grounding. The position also involves maintaining spray equipment, training in sanding and wiping duties, and collaborating with other departments to meet production and quality standards while adhering to all safety and environmental policies.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand move tickets.
Ability to spray all finishes.
Must have the ability to identify various finishes and wood species.
Must have excellent attention to detail.
Must have good team work/communication skills.

Train or assist training of new sprayers.

Responsibilities

Spray product on the finishing line per move ticket standards.
Ensure color checkers are in place and are checking the color.
Ensure all portable pots are grounded.
Ensure all agitators are running.
Maintain spray equipment, including gun filter cleaning and lubricating equipment.
Train to sanding duties on the line using a sanding block or sandpaper.
Train to wiping duties on the line using a wiping rag.
Communicate with various departments and personnel.
Complete any necessary documentation and paperwork.
Maintain production and quality standards.
Follow all safety rules, JSA and work instructions.
Perform all duties in a safe manner.
Be cross-trained in the job prior to and after the current position in the process flow.
Fix unsafe conditions if possible and report conditions to the supervisor.
Follow all environmental policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Rotate to other departments and duties as needed.
