About The Position

This position is responsible for spraying products on the finishing line according to move ticket standards. The role involves ensuring quality control, maintaining equipment, and potentially training new employees. The Sprayer also plays a role in cross-training and adhering to safety and environmental policies.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand move tickets.
Ability to spray all finishes.
Must have the ability to identify various finishes and wood species.
Must have excellent attention to detail.
Must have good team work/communication skills.

May rotate to other departments and duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Spray product on the finishing line per move ticket standards.
Ensure color checkers are in place and are checking the color.
Ensure all portable pots are grounded.
Ensure all agitators are running.
Maintain spray equipment includes gun filter cleaning and lubricating equipment.
Train to sanding duties on the line using a sanding block or sand paper.
Train to wiping duties on the line using a wiping rag.
Communicate with various departments and personnel.
Complete any necessary documentation and paperwork.
Maintain production and quality standards.
Follow all safety rules, JSA and work instructions.
Perform all duties in a safe manner.
At minimum must be cross trained in job prior to and after current position in process flow.
Fix unsafe conditions if possible and report condition to supervisor.
Follow all environmental policies.
Train or assist training of new sprayers.
