Sports Bar Food Server
About The Position
The Sports Bar Food Server receives and serves food and beverage orders from guests, and may collect payment and make change. The role includes greeting and communicating with guests in a friendly, courteous manner; entering and processing orders using a computerized guest check system; retrieving prepared orders from the kitchen and delivering them to guests; maintaining dining-room cleanliness; presenting checks; and collecting payments or delivering them to the cashier. The position involves carrying and balancing trays or pushing a cart of food and beverages through kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Must be able to use a computer system to place food and beverage orders and process payments.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of food and beverage service experience is preferred.
