About The Position

The Sporting Event Crew Member plays a key role in creating unique experiences on the IMG Academy campus for student-athletes, families, tournament participants, visiting professional teams, and guests. The position supports event setup, game-day execution, and event breakdown to help deliver a seamless, world-class experience for participants and attendees.

The role provides guest-service and operational support for sporting events and game-day operations, as well as assistance with non-sporting events such as boarding school student check-in, sporting gear distribution, summer camp activities, graduation, and employee celebrations. The position may fill a variety of event-day assignments and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to work on indoor and outdoor surfaces, including grass, turf, and courts, in all weather.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill event tasks.
• Ability to operate office equipment such as computers.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with guest-service and operational areas related to events and game-day operations.
• Support stadium operations during sporting events, including event setup, ticket sales, ingress control, parking assistance, giveaway distribution, cleaning support, mobility and transportation, and customer service.
• Fill game-day roles such as official stat keeper, home or visiting team liaison, video or production assistant, and officials’ check-in.
• Support sports teams, coaches, guests, officials, and IMG Academy staff to help ensure a smooth experience.
• Participate in event setup and breakdown and provide resources needed for successful event execution.
• Support non-sporting events, including boarding school student check-in, sporting gear distribution, summer camp activities, graduation, and employee celebration events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
