About The Position

Hillsboro Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist (ST/SLP) to join its rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. The role supports residents in improving communication, cognition, and swallowing function and enhancing their quality of life. The therapist works with short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents in a positive, collaborative workplace alongside supportive rehabilitation and nursing teams.

Requirements

• Current Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate approach to resident care.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, dietary services, and therapy team members.
• Educate residents and families regarding treatment programs and progress.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
