Speech Pathologist (SLP)
About The Position
Wilson Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide patient care in a 294-bed community hospital serving Wilson County and surrounding communities. The role is PRN on the day shift. The Speech Language Pathologist assesses speech, language, and swallowing abilities; develops and implements patient-specific treatment plans; educates patients and families; documents evaluations, treatment, and progress; and collaborates with healthcare teams on care coordination. The position requires a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a current SLP license, ASHA certification, and CPR certification. Experience in an acute or rehabilitation setting is preferred. The successful candidate demonstrates critical thinking and decisive judgment, can work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment, and communicates effectively in English verbally and in writing.
Requirements
