About The Position
Wilson Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech, language, and swallowing assessment and treatment. The role contributes to the organization’s mission of making communities healthier and providing excellent care to the Wilson County community and surrounding areas. The Speech Language Pathologist assesses patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities; develops and implements individualized treatment plans; educates patients and families about therapy goals; and documents evaluations, treatments, and progress. The position also collaborates with healthcare teams on care coordination and performs other duties as assigned. The schedule is PRN, day shift.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current SLP license.
- ASHA certification.
- CPR certification.
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and take appropriate action in a stressful environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities
