About The Position

Amedisys is hiring a part-time Speech Pathologist to provide home health care to adults. The role involves preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders. It also provides aural rehabilitation for people who are deaf or hard of hearing and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for people with severe expressive or language comprehension disorders. The schedule is days, and the position includes mileage reimbursement and paid training. Compensation is $50.00 to $56.25 per hour and may vary by geographic market, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements

• Hold a current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state assigned.
• Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Have completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at a college or university with a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).
• Hold current CPR certification.

Responsibilities
