About The Position

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Mercy Hospital Ada, a 159-bed acute-care facility serving Pontotoc County and surrounding communities in south-central Oklahoma. The SLP evaluates and treats patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse populations. The role includes conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized plans of care, and delivering evidence-based interventions in collaboration with patients and their families. The SLP documents and communicates patient progress, adjusts treatment plans as needed, provides education and counseling, assists with discharge planning, and supervises clinical fellows, students, and support personnel in accordance with professional standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current licensure as a Speech Therapist with the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities
