Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - PRN - Dayton, Ohio - Skilled Nursing
About The Position
We are currently seeking PRN Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to support multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the Dayton, Ohio market. Opportunities are available in: Dayton, Kettering, Centerville, Yellow Springs, and Waynesville. Candidates are not expected to work at all locations. Facility assignment is based on applicant preference, scheduling availability, and geographic convenience. This position supports a network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout the greater Dayton area. During the interview process, our recruiting team will discuss preferred work locations and travel expectations with each candidate. We strive to place clinicians in facilities that best align with their desired commute and scheduling preferences. Help residents improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing safety while maximizing independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Ohio Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans that support functional outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning
- Educate patients, families, and facility staff
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Help improve quality of life and independence for the patients you serve
