About The Position

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement. This is an in-person position in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Travel is not required.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a program accredited by the Education Standards Board, or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements.
• Meet the education and experience requirements for the Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA.
• Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered.
• ASHA certification.
• CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills and clinical judgment.

• Rehabilitation or acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
